Ordering: Ordering from MODELS by MICKSTER (MxM) is as easy as picking up the phone or sending an email. Fax or Phone your order to us at
(701) 402-0531. The best time to talk to the Mickster is after 5pm CST. Please leave your Name and Number and I will return your call.
For email orders simply email your request to
ORDERS@MODELSbyMICKSTER.com. Please be sure to include your Name and Address along with your phone number incase we need to contact you. Your order should consist of the Manufactures Name, Item Number, Description and Price. Also let us know your preferred method of payment (Check, Money Order, Paypal or Visa/MasterCard) so we can send the correct invoice and advise you on out-of-stock items. If you have any questions about ordering, please don't hesitate to send us an email. We'll normally respond within 24 hours.
We are currently evaluating the best way to set-up an on-line ordering system. For security reasons, please do not
(under any circumstances) send MxM an e-mail containing your credit card number. Also, do not include your credit card number when submitting orders by mail. Please read ‘

In-Stock Items & Back-Orders: MxM’s inventory will continue to grow steadily over the next year as orders are placed and New Product Lines added.
Our goal is to build a working inventory of each product line. This does not mean that all items from all manufacturers will always be in stock, but it does mean that the most popular products along with new releases will usually be in stock.
For you convenience you'll find a
SILVER STAR icon to the left of any item we have in-stock and ready to ship. We will do our best to keep this current and accurate.
Orders with all items in stock will be shipped within 1-3 days of receiving payment. If some items on your order are out of stock they will be placed on back order (B/O) and you will be given the option to have the in-stock items shipped now or when your back ordered items arrive. You will always be notified of the estimated shipping delay whenever you order an item that is not in stock. Because we deal with both domestic and international suppliers, we submit orders to our suppliers as frequently as every few days or as infrequently as every few weeks. Additionally, some products are simply not cost effective for us to stock (e.g., expensive limited edition products), but can be acquired when requested by a customer. In those instances, and at the sole discretion of MxM, a customer may be required to pre-pay a non-refundable portion of the item's selling price, prior to us placing an order with our suppliers. This is done to protect MxM in situations where the customer cancels such an order after we've obtained the specially ordered product. Such situations are rare, but can occur.
We urge you to be patient as you will get your order, if it's available, or you'll receive a refund or credit (whichever you prefer).
Pre-Orders: MxM will work to keep you informed of soon to be released products (check out our ‘
NEWS’ pages). Once our supplier has set the price we will list the items for you to pre-order. Pre-orders must be paid for at the time of ordering and will be shipped to you when they arrive.
Old Kit Orders: Our ‘OLD KITS’ page is the garage sale area of the MxM site. Most items are listed with a quantity of one or two. Items are sold as described and its first-come-first-serve. Items will be shipped after payment is received.
Our Prices Are Low: MxM was started by modelers who know the value of shopping around to avoid paying retail prices. We still feel the same way and will work hard to keep our prices very reasonable. Because we work off low profit margins, fluctuations in foreign currencies, increases in shipping costs (to us), and price increases by manufacturers will all affect our prices. Because of this, our price on some items may vary from one shipment to the next. Sometimes they even go down! Be advised that all prices on The MxM website (including back ordered items) are subject to change without prior notice.
Paying For Your Order: All prices shown and monies due to MxM are in US Dollars.
Orders from outside the US and Canada must be made with Paypal, Western Union or International Money Order, Credit Cards will not be accepted.Link to Paypal,

Money Orders & Check Payments: Money Orders (M.O.) are treated just like cash by our bank so we are able to ship your order in a day or two, provided your items are in stock. Payments made by Bank or Personal checks will be held until the check clears at our bank, normally within 7-10 business days from the day we deposit it. Please keep in mind that this can delay shipment of your order for a few weeks. If you wish to pay by check or Money Order, simply request us to email you an invoice for the total due on your order. Then make the Money Order, or Check, in the amount of the invoice, payable to

Credit Card Payments: MxM accepts both Visa & MasterCard with no additional fees.
For security reasons do not mail or email your credit card number to MxM. Please use our Fax/Phone line or email address to send us your phone number so MxM can personally contact you for your credit card info.
Paypal Payments: MxM is happy to accept payment by Paypal. We do however charge a 3% fee to the payment to cover Paypal Fees (4% if outside the US). All Paypal payments should be sent to MxM at our Paypal ID;

Your credit card can also be used through Paypal as payment.
Return Policy: You must get authorization from MxM to return any items you have bought within seven days of purchase. If the packaging is opened, or no longer in good condition, no return credit will be issued as the merchandise is no longer saleable. If an item is missing part[s], we will either contact the Manufacturer and have the part[s] sent directly to our customer[s] or if the Manufacturer requests direct dialog with the customer, we will give you the contact information. There is a 25% restocking fee on items returned. We do not credit the postage it cost to send the merchandise or the postage to return it to us. All refunds will be issued when the merchandised has been received.
Shipping Policy: MxM uses the USPS and FedEx for delivery of your order. FedEx Ground is used for large packages or orders over 5 pounds as its cheaper and saves you money. FedEx includes shipping Insurance with all packages.
Due to some of the fixed costs of Shipping and Handling the minimum shipping charge is $5.00.
Orders shipped with the USPS DO NOT include Insurance unless requested by the customer. If your order never arrives or is damaged, MxM is under no obligation to replace or refund your order. MxM takes great care in packing your order against damage and all our packages are clearly labeled and address. However, we will not be accountable for loss once your package is in the hands of others. If this is a concern for you please buy the insurance. All orders are shipped FOB Grand Forks, ND.
A word about Foreign Orders
All foreign orders will be quoted a price for shipping. Most orders are sent Air Letter Post (Air Mail). This economical service is 4-7 days to most destinations as quoted by the USPS. This service does not include Insurance or Tracking so once your package is delivered to my Post Office I do not have any way to find out where its at or any other information. It is up to the customer to request and pay for these additional services. I do a lot of foreign business and 99% of the time things work out great but on occasion a parcel may get lost. If your concerned about the risk let me know and we can find other shipping options.
